Overview
The brief.
ChampionsWay is a cloud-based martial arts school management solution for small and midsize schools. Goal of this project was to give a visual overhaul of the company. It was a great opportunity to test how audience reacts to a new aesthetic. The company have since been rebranded as Xplor Software.

The Challenge
Martial Arts Marketing? Who is our audience?
ChampionsWay served small and midsize martial arts schools with solid software, but the visual identity hadn't kept pace. The brand needed to feel modern and credible to schools evaluating new management tools, without losing the approachability that made it welcoming to smaller, community-run studios. It was also a chance to test how a new aesthetic would land with an audience that doesn't always expect polish from software in this space, and to lay groundwork that could hold up through a larger rebrand down the line.
the solution
A system built on tension.
For a brand like this, the risk was landing somewhere safe and forgettable, the same rounded logo and friendly color palette every competitor uses. The goal was to build something with more edge: an identity that felt confident and a little unexpected without tipping into confusing or cold. Balancing that tension, bold enough to stand out, restrained enough to still feel trustworthy, was the real design problem to solve.
