Not All Wolves Are Bad

A storybook twist on classic fairytale lore, featuring a tiny traveler in a bonnet and basket walking down a quiet cobblestone alley, accompanied by a giant, cloaked wolf watching over her steps.
Inspiration
Inspired by fairytale illustration and classic dark fantasy art—taking the traditional "Big Bad Wolf" motif and flipping it into an unlikely, protective guardian following someone small through a spooky old town.

Process
Drawn in a sketchbook using a combination of graphite and charcoal. Graphite was used to build up the soft, fine fur details and the subtle textures of the stone walls and cobblestones, while charcoal was layered in to push the deep darks in the doorway, cape, and shadows
